Some People Don't Eat Pork??$&#%??

I was going to slow cook a pork shoulder to use for tacos with friends. I got it out to thaw but then remembered, SHE DOESN'T EAT PORK!!!

So instead I pulled the frozen chicken out of the freezer and thawed it overnight.

Cut up onions and one jalapeño (seeded) and add to crook pot.

Rub the chicken to taco spice, try to get some under the skin. After the rub put another cut and seeded jalapeño inside the chicken.

Then add it to crock pot, on low and wait.

Once it is done, it will look like it want to fall apart on its own.

Then you can skin it and shred it.

Fry the skin

YUMMMM!

Put the bones back into the crock pot to make chicken stock for later.

Gross!

BACK TO THE TACOS

Add some of the yummy juices into the casserole dish the shredded chicken is in, so that the chicken doesn't dry out. Before serving, Back, uncovered at 450, for as long as it take the top to get crispy.

Chicken Bits

Nothing is better than chicken soup and a sandwich on a raining day!

Goal: Turn chicken back bone/bits into soup.

Supplies: Backbone/bits of 2 chicken, 2 chicken breast, carrots, celery, broccoli stumps, 2 onions, ginger, garlic, noodles.

Step 1: Boil water, add chicken bits/back bone and 1/3 of the carrots, ends of the celery, stumps of broccoli, onions, garlic and ginger. Simmer for a looooong time.

Step 2: Wait for your partner to come home and kick you out of the kitchen.

Step 3: Let your partner make more pans, cut more veggies, bowl water, and do something with chicken.

Step 4: Eat your soup.

Something you never thought you would write about when applying for a job

In general, I try not to tell perspective employers that I play adult kickball. I don't know why this is, adult kickball is the best of the adult recreational sports, it combines drinking in parks with a reason to drink in parks. Anyhow, I wrote this in a recent cover letter.

" I also kept offensive statistics for my adult kickball team for multiple seasons. I have uploaded an example of these statistics."

The job is to be a stats intern for I assume, the Blue Jays. I will be surprised if they contact me for an interview, but I figured it was worth a try.

Its Halloween!
I got some stuff to do
Like use those balloons!
Cheers!
